Abstract
The aim. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the history and future of slavery in the digital and post-digital era. The first part examines the evolution of slavery throughout human history and highlights the similarities and differences between traditional slavery and the emerging form of digital slavery. The second part explores the potential consequences of digital slavery and the ethical implications of creating intelligent machines capable of enslaving humans. The third part discusses the future of slavery and argues that, while the process of emancipation is ongoing, only a small portion of humanity will be able to compete with digital intelligence and remain at the "helm of history." The article concludes by suggesting that, like in previous eras, the development of digital intelligence will also require slavery, and that this process will eventually come to an end as we enter a post-digital era.
