Abstract
  • The article analyzes statutory regulation of election administrators in the States of Vermont and Virginia and the District of Columbia in 2019. A comparative analysis of the federal, regional and local laws on elections and referendums of the indicated constituent entities of the American federation is carried out. The author gives interpretations of corresponding legal provisions and legal understanding of electoral laws of the USA and law enforcement practice. Gaps and discrepancies in American electoral laws requiring additional research are identified.
